Clare R. Johnson PhD
Clare R. Johnson, PhD, is Board Director of the largest dream organization in the world, the International Association for the Study of Dreams. Her work on lucid dreaming has been featured in documentaries, magazines, radio shows, podcasts, and television. She is a regular speaker at international dream conferences, both in the United States and in Europe, and she leads lucid dream workshops and courses as well as creative lucid dreaming weekends.
She writes a regular "Amazing Dreamers" feature for Dream Time magazine and she contributed to the ground-breaking anthology Lucid Dreaming: New Perspectives on Consciousness in Sleep (Praeger, 2014). Her first novel, Breathing in Colour, explores how lucid dreaming can heal trauma, while her second novel, Dreamrunner, explores lucid dreaming as a potential cure for violent moving nightmares.
