Llewellyn’s 110th Anniversary Extravaganza
Yes, you read that correctly—this year we celebrate our 110th birthday! (Does that make us officially old??) We’ve spent over a century publishing books for the body, mind, and spirit, dedicated to bringing our readers the very best in metaphysical books and resources. Since 1901, we’ve been at the forefront of holistic and metaphysical publishing and thought. (You can read a history of Llewellyn in 3 parts: Part One, Part Two, and Part Three.)
And we want you to join in our celebration! Beginning today, we will be asking a fun or reflective question to our followers on Twitter each day, denoted by the hashtag #dailymoon. The #dailymoon question is designed to inspire conversation between ourselves and our readers.
In more, bigger Twitter news, we will also be hosting a series of six Twitter parties this summer, each focusing on a different topic and with a featured author providing their expert point of view. Did we mention giveaways? In addition to having a great time and getting to chat with well-known Llewellyn authors, you’ll have a chance to win copies of Llewellyn Books! (Prize winners will be drawn at random at the end of each Twitter Party from the participants of that party. We will contact winners via direct message after each party.)

I just found your site (not that I had to look really hard) but I just wanted to tell you that my grandmother lived religiously by your moon sign book. In fact I still have the 1973 and one other editions. Thank you for helping her with your advice through the years. The moon signs really work! I have always planted my garden, had a surgery and had teeth pulled by the book. My first husband had oral surgery without the advice of the moon sign book. He nearly bled to death. The second surgery he ask me to look up a good date. I did and he had no problems whatsoever. Both sides were very infected. He was a firm believer after that…(smile).
Thanks Linda in Missouri
I used your Moon Sign Book to pick my wedding date. My husband and I have been together for 20 years and married for 14 years. I guess it worked!! I also live by your astrological calendar. I have tons of your books. When I started on my path of Witchcraft Your books taught me almost everything. Especially the Scott Cunningham books. He was awesome, the best. I didn’t know him but I sure do miss him. Brightest Blessings to you all, Faeirymoon
And by the way I just want to say thank you to you for helping us on our paths. Your the greatest!
Hi, I enjoyed #moonchat but the forum (twitter) leaves me flat and it’s hard to follow. I’m sure you’ve considered the alternative, a thread on Facebook, so I’m wondering, why not there? (here)
My name is Rukia and I am 13 yrs old. I have been reading many of your books and articles. I enjoy them spiritually as well as all the wonders I get from them. I am wanting to know if you have read these books i am going to write here. My mom has been reading these books to me and my family. She is the best at reading stories that bring magick into our lives and her natural abilities to have a magick in her that I grew up with while she tends to her garden and herbs and walks in nature she teaches us many things in life and in the old ways. the books are Daughter of the Forest by juliet marillier, Son of the shadow, Heir of Sevenwaters, and child of the prophecy all by the same arthur. I am wondering do you believe that these books hold any truth of how life was back then and are these books based on true events that lead druids, and healers in today’s society. My mom believes in this and now that I am older I have friends that don’t believe any thing like this and they claim that this is all fake and myths that never existed in life. Please let me know what you think and if these books my mom reads us give any truth to them.
have a blessed day.
blessed be.
Rukia.
