Full Moon in Pisces, Friday, August 31
The Full Moon in Pisces occurs Friday, August 31 at 9:58 am Eastern (1:58 pm, GMT) at 6 degrees. Full Moons represent the culmination of those things that were begun with the New Moon (in this case the August 17 New Moon in Leo, which found us focusing on the hobbies, interests, and ambitions we have in our lives). This is also a “Blue Moon,” (meaning that it is the second full moon within a single month), so it is extra special.
The Pisces Full Moon opposes the Sun in Virgo; we are reminded to check ourselves in the progress we made towards our goals set during the Leo New Moon. Have we reviewed what brought us happiness and success in the past? Do we need to be more attentive to the details of our lives (Virgo’s influence) as they pertain to our happiness? Pisces points us toward being adaptable and sensitive in our needs, while Virgo reinforces that a little structure does indeed help our outlook.
Be sure to make a wish on it and the Blue Full Moon will shine for you and all the things you do.
The Blue Full Moon in Pisces late lunchtime GMT, may plaice something fishy on your plate to contemplate !
Ha Ha Ha.
Its just after midnight here in the UK and the sky is clear and bright, and the Full “blue” Moon in Pisces is a pure delight.
My boyfriend proposed on this night!! Completely suprised me on the water after lighting of a couple of sky lanterns. My whole family was there! I’m just still so in shock and excited for over future! He didn’t even realize it was a blue moon! We both have a strong attraction to full moons, which will be at our wedding as well! So interesting to me that this moon was in pisces and he is a pisces! It must have been speaking to him!
