POSTED UNDER Bath, Water

Spell: Water Meditation

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Today is the annual Buddhist water festival. Water that bathed the Buddha statues is saved and thrown on the faithful to cleanse them of evil spirits. Take a small box of baking soda and two cups of sea salt, and add them to warm bath water. Play meditation or temple bell music, and burn a new white candle. As you slip into the bath, let the warm water engulf you. Visualize your worries, your guilt and self-criticism, and all your frustrations fall away from you into the water. Feel how much lighter and freer you feel as the water gently laps around you. Stay in the bath as long as you feel comfortable.
