Spell: Bettara-Ichi Day (Japanese Festival of Good Fortune)

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Sukkot ends

Let Ebisu, Japanese god of luck and prosperity, inspire you to create a talisman. Begin by meditating upon the specific qualities of good fortune you seek to attract. For example, do you want a new job? Do you seek a lucky charm? Do you desire a bountiful crop or success on an exam? Now, choose a meaningful object to become the talisman and, holding it at your heart, direct this guiding intention to it with your mind. Breathe three times onto the object. Next, imbue it with the energies of the four elements, from earth to water to fire to air. You can do this using ritual tools or simply through visualization techniques. Finally, return it again to your heart and breathe with conscious intention another three times. Seal the rite with consecrating oil or a kiss. Your talisman is now ready to wear or place upon your altar. Good luck!
