Spell: Ritual for Winged Feet and Blessed Sneakers

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Orthodox Easter

Bless your walking shoes with this simple ritual. Gather a pen, small bit of paper, matches, salt, water, candle, and thurible.
Write this charm on the paper:

Strong my heart,
And fleet my feet,
Soon to start,
My blood to beat.
Send me power
That I may last
For minutes and hours
Along this path.

Dissolve a bit of salt in the water. Light the candle. Pass the shoes above the candle and say:

By Fire and Air
I bless these shoes.

Dip your fingers into the salt water and sprinkle it over the shoes and say:

By Earth and Water
I bless these shoes.

Read the charm aloud, then place the paper in the thurible and light it. Visualize the charm's power being concentrated by the flame. Dip a finger into the cooled ashes and draw the rune Uruz-for strength and vitality-inside each shoe. See the aura of empowerment glowing around your sneakers!
