Spell: Lady Godiva's Ride

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

In 1040, it is said, Leofric, Lord of Coventry, laid onerous taxes upon his people. When his wife, Lady Godiva, begged him to be merciful, he challenged her: if she would ride naked through the town, he would rescind the taxes. This folktale may really be about the Celtic goddess Epona, and the purpose of her ride may have been to bestow the blessings of beauty and good fortune on the people.
What's going on in your world that needs correcting? With your eyes and mind open and focused, decide what needs to be done and what action you can best take. (You don't need to ride naked, though you may...) Invoke Epona and other goddesses for courage and strength, and take appropriate action to bring change into the world and restore its true beauty. Do practical and magical work for the environment, for people in need, or for animals.
