LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Spell: Practical Bibliomancy

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

If you're drawn to magickal and mystical paths, it's likely that you own a number of books. Let your intuition guide you to three books of your choice. These books can pertain to any subject matter and can be new or old, fiction or nonfiction, big or small.
Enter a sacred space and, in your own words, summon the spirits of vision and divination. Ask that your ancestors, guides, and guardians be present. Bring to mind three separate questions, and write them on a piece of paper. Close your eyes and grab one of the books while you verbally ask your first question. Randomly flip to a page and point to the section that you're guided toward. Open your eyes and write the sentence, paragraph, or image you encounter. This is your "answer."
Repeat this process for the other two questions. Once completed, reflect on the abstract responses to see how they somehow symbolically correspond to the questions you've proposed. The answers may surprise you!
