Spell: Spring Cleaning

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

At the beginning of spring, the energy of nature moves from quiet to more active. Beneath us, the earth begins to shift in subtle ways, preparing itself for growth and rebirth. Inside our homes, we can do the same thing. To prepare yourself and the place in which you live for the changes that will come with the new season, walk through your house with a smudge stick or your favorite cleansing incense (rosemary is good, or any citrus). Or you can use salt and water. As you go, say out loud:

"This space is cleansed and cleared to make way for positive energy and beneficial change and growth."

If your energy feels particularly stagnant, make one pass with the smudge stick and another with the salt and water, saying your magical phrase louder and louder until you shout So mote it be! at the end.
