Here we have another instance where the we can look at the active suits together and the passive suits together.
As the elements near the end of their cycles, as they do in the 10s, each element responds differently.
The active elements become heavy and discontent. The Wands becomes unbearably burdensome.
The Swords turn on their creator, utterly doing him in. Passion and intellect apparently do better when new, fresh, and agile.
The passive elements also become heavy, but in their heaviness they find completion and fullness.
The Cups are the fullness of love and the Pentacles are the fullness of abundance. Here, both suits do well being “grounded” – they have roots, a past, a history that promise a future and this makes the present very sweet indeed.

The Legacy Of The Divine captures the essence of this post beautifully. I never stopped to think that active/passive reacted differently to the weight of the Tens.
Beautifal Cards, Beautifal Deck. I particually like the 10 of Pents. I may scan it as a “Wish Card” Blessings, BB.

Barb, I’ve had an odd issue with your posts lately, and it does not seem to matter if I’m at home, or say the library, I never seem to be able to see the cards on the main page, but have to click on the frame to see them. .. anyone else having this trouble?
