For this spell you will need a protective crystal/stone. (I recommend black tourmaline, jet, obsidian, or hematite.) This can be a small tumbled stone to carry in a pocket or bag, or it can be a crystal/stone set in a piece of jewelry to be worn.

Take a moment to ground and center, then hold the crystal/stone in both hands and say:

Child of Earth, I charge you with the power of protection.
You will absorb and ground any negative energy sent to me, from within or without.
Protect me from ill thoughts and ill deeds.
Only good things come to me.
As I do will, so must it be.

Carry or wear the crystal/stone as needed.

After use, cleanse the crystal/stone by leaving it overnight in a bowl of salt or on a windowsill that receives moonlight.
