Wax in Water

Color of the day:  White
Incense of the day:  Clary sage

Carromancy (or ceromancy) is divination that uses wax. Dropping molten wax into water and interpreting the shapes that form is a popular form of divination. You may already be familiar with this method. If not, give it a try. You can pour melted wax into a bowl of cold water or let the wax drip from a candle. Focus on your question as the drops of wax congeal and form shapes. Trust your instincts and don't rush the process. Remove the hardened wax from the water for continued study and meditation if desired.

Repeat these words as you interpret the results:

The candle knows,
The wax will tell,
The water shows
As I compel.
