Today is the last day of the feast of the Roman goddess Ceres and the anniversary of the official dedication of her temple. On this day, honor Ceres, goddess of grains and cultivation, with the following ritual to increase abundance in your life. Bake a loaf of bread or buy a loaf from a bakery and serve it at a meal. Use this blessing before eating:
We are grateful for the hands that created this food, and to the elements of earth, air, fire, and water for making life possible.
Ceres of the flowing grain, abundance to our table bring.
