Now you've done it. An e-mail pissed you off. You were angry, and you know you had every right to be. You immediately shot off a reply telling that so-and-so exactly what you thought. Then you regretted it. Byte is Goddess of Angry E-mails. She is the one who sends your fingers flying across the keyboard in answer to that message. Bit is the other goddess of e-mails-the one who says, "Wait." You want to calm down before you send that e-mail. Bit suggests you wait twenty-four hours before answering. Start a draft, save it, and reread it the next day. If you still feel the same, clean it up and send it. Byte is useful in Her place, but always wait a Bit first.
