The perfect place for rosemary is near your front door, where it can bless your comings and goings. Pick a leaf to chew on your way out; rosemary awakens the senses, stimulates memory, and brings energy and a sense of well-being. It is said to fight illness and to bring love. Rosemary is considered a universal substitute; use it in any incense recipe where you're missing an ingredient. It benefits all magical and healing work. Carry a fresh rosemary leaf with you for good health. Rosemary is an evergreen that can be harvested year round. It cannot abide temperatures much below forty degrees and should be mulched over in a cold winter. It can be grown indoors in a sunny window. The plant should have good drainage and be watered frequently. |
