Happy New Year! As the new calendar year begins on a day that aligns with Jupiter, let's start this year off right with a spell to promote prosperity and good health. Light a green spell candle for Jupiter's energies of prosperity and health and a light-gold spell candle to symbolize the new year of 2009. Set these candles in their holders on a safe, flat work surface. Carefully arrange a photo of yourself and your loved ones around the spell candles-just be sure to protect your photos from the wax. Now repeat the charm:

Today the New Year has begun, and quite merrily,
Bring prosperity and health to me and my family.
Ring out the old and ring in the new, on this happy day,
May this year hold many blessings, and happiness I pray.
Let the candles burn out in a safe place.
