Color of the day: Amber

The ancients knew what they were doing when they worshipped the Sun as a god. We would not be here if not for the Sun's light. In fact, the formation of the Sun started the birth of our galaxy and our planet. Since today is the day named for the Sun (Sunday), use this ritual to honor the Sun. Gather items that symbolize the Sun-yellow and gold candles and stones such as pyrite, citrine, or clear quartz. Put the candle or candles in the center and make a circle around them using the stones. Use yellow, gold, red, orange, and white ribbons as rays of light extending from the circle. Dedicate your ritual to a particular Sun god or goddess if you desire, such as Apollo.
Sun of light, Sun of power,
We watch your movement mark the hours.
By your light we each do live,
Thanks to you in this ritual I give.
