Color of the day: Amber Incense of the day: Heliotrope Draw a rough map of where you lost the object; a floor plan of your house if you think you lost it at home, for example, or a city map if you don't know where you lost the object. On a small table with nothing else on it, spread out the map of your area with north on the map at the north end of the table. Put a compass in the center of the map and objects similar to the one you wish to find at the four corners. For example, if you can't find a piece of jewelry, put other pieces of jewelry at the corners. Using a pendulum (if you don't have one, you can contrive one by tying a heavy thread to a ring), focus your mind on the lost object, letting the pendulum swing freely. Move it over the map until it swings more actively; this will indicate in some manner where the object can be found.
