Take a Walk

Incense of the day:  Yarrow
 
Walking is great exercise for all of us. Here's a small ritual to bless you and your walking shoes.
Write this charm on a piece of paper, reading aloud as you write:
Strong my heart,
And fleet my feet,
Soon to start,
My blood to beat.
Send me power
That I may last
For minutes and hours
Along this path.
Dissolve a bit of salt in some water and light an orange candle (for health and vigor). Sprinkle salt water over your shoes, saying:
By earth and water I empower these shoes.
Pass the shoes above the candle, saying:
By fire and air
I empower these shoes.
Roll up the paper charm and burn it with the candle, visualizing the power of your words being concentrated by the flame. When cool, dab a spot of ash inside each shoe and over your heart. Visualize the glowing aura of empowerment!
