LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

The Magic of Gratitude

Color of the day:  Gray
Incense of the day:  Ginger

Passover ends

Start a gratitude journal. Select a small notebook, or, if you're more technologically inclined, open a new computer file. If choosing a notebook, green is an excellent color for invoking abundance and calm. Set a time each day to write in your journal. For best results, choose a time when you're calm and well rested. Working in the morning enables a concrete view, helping you consider those things you're grateful for and how they might lead to positive actions in the day to come. Writing in the evening is more magical and reflective, encouraging a writer to reflect on personal benefits already reaped. When writing in your gratitude journal, ask yourself what you're thankful for. Who or what do you appreciate? Who are you indebted to? Who deserves your thanks? Your recognition? Make your notes, and then consider a way to thank or honor those you're grateful for. Pay forward the magic of gratitude!
