A Water Scrying Ritual

July is an appropriate time to perform water magic of all kinds. The Sun is in the water sign Cancer, vacationers head to the shore, and thunderstorms rumble in the afternoon. The ancient art of water scrying will enable you to tap into this water energy.
This ritual should be performed outdoors on a moonless night. For this scrying session, use a birdbath with clean water, your cauldron, or a pond. In silence, approach the water and concentrate on your question. With your finger, stir the water three times in a clockwise direction. As the ripples move, begin to scry. Become lost in the water as you gaze. Whisper:
Water flow, let me see what I need to know.
As the images fade, return to your normal state of mind and thank the water element.
