Call a Household Pet

If you are insterested in a certain kind of animal, say a poodle or angora cat, gather everyone in your household together for this ten minute ritual. First, light a votive candle. Say in a loud voice, "We want a poodle (or other type of animal) to be here with us." Have everyone mention something they intend to offer the pet-love, time, walks in the park, play, snuggling, food. Together take a few quiet moments to visualize life with the imagined pet. Then blow out the candle, and exclaim, "Welcome to our home!" Follow your hunches about where and when to find your new household member.
