LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

A Binding Spell

Color of the day:  Gray
Incense of the day:  Rue

Today is a good day for magic to dispel negativity or to get rid of an unwanted presence in your life- this includes any bad habits you wish to break. On a piece of paper, write down what you wish to bind. When you bind something you immobilize it, stop it in its tracks. Remember, you should never do a binding spell to cause harm to anyone or manipulate another person. Roll your paper and tie a piece of ribbon or string around it, clinching it tight. Tie three knots and, for each knot, say the following words:
Bind this tight, hold it fast,
mind my words, make it last.
Let no harm come to me, for
the good of all so mote it be.
Visualize your bad habit ending, or the bothersome person keeping his or her distance. Bury the paper outside in a place where it won't be disturbed.
