Icicle Magic to Banish Pain

This spell assumes that the reader lives in a climate that is currently snowy and cold. If icicles are unavailable, just substitute an ice cube for the spell! This working is used to help banish pain from your life. Taking an icicle, hold it to your chest, thinking about any painful or tormenting situations in your life.
See the icicle as a knife in your chest, causing you pain and misery. While you bring the icicle away from your body, consciously intent to banish these things from your life, and think about the various ways you can conquer these situations. Say:

"Cold blade of torment, I cast you away from my sphere! Melt with the season; descend with the snow. I enter healing while this pain flees from my life. So mote it be!"

Conclude by melting the icicle in a bowl on your altar overnight. Let the water evaporate over time, dissispating away from you.
