In 1892 Thomas Edison received a patent for the two-way telegraph. One hundred and twenty years later, the telegraph has been replaced by the smart phone, and the dots and dashes of Morse code have been suplanted by texting and leetspeak.
Today's phone texting, because of its brevity, is often devoid of much emotion, let alone magick. You can add magickal oomph to your e-communications by creating an electronic sigil to add to your messages. You needn't explain the symbol to others; just knowing it's there will let you know you're giving your messages of love and friendship a magickal boost as they fly across the ether. Use keystrokes to create a sigil, or perhaps just add something as ultra simple as ending every message with three dots or a lunar parenthesis. It will make you feel happy and magickal every time you push send.
