Color of the day: Turquoise Incense of the day: Jasmine Every library is different-in age, size, shape, and in the numbers of books collected. During National Library Week, set aside some time to visit your local library, and explore a section you never enter or rarely use. If you are already very familiar with your local "book repository," explore one outside of your area. Look to see what types of books on Wicca and earth-based religions they offer. Sit and take in the quiet of unfamiliar surroundings as you research and copy a spell or spells you may never have seen or heard of. Look into the life of Andrew Carnegie, whose philanthropic endeavors over a century ago created many libraries still in use today. Before and after your visit, offer a blessing for literacy. |
