POSTED UNDER Earth

Midweek Mountain Grounding

Color of the day:  White
Incense of the day:  Lilac

Every Wednesday is a turning point-you're halfway through the week! Take a moment to recenter yourself with this mini version of Tadasana (Mountain Pose in yoga). Combined with a bit of visualization, you will feel reenergized and refreshed and ready to tackle the rest of the week.
Stand up straight and tall, and let your arms fall to your sides, palms open and turned toward your legs. Plant your feet firmly on the floor, the ball and heel first and then your toes. Feel yourself being supported by the ground beneath you. See yourself as a mountain, a part of the earth.
Now focus on your breath; close your eyes if you need to. Become aware of the rhythm as you inhale and exhale. Visualize that each breath out releases any stress, weariness, or negativity that you're feeling. With each breath in, see yourself taking in new, clean energy.
Repeat for ten inhalations/exhalations.
