Cleansing Rain

Incense of the day:  Neroli
 
Into every life a little rain must fall, so why not use it to your magickal advantage? A spring rainstorm is an excellent time to do a self-cleansing spell.
The next time it rains, step outside into the rain and envision it washing away negativity and stagnant energy. Before you go outside, be sure you've got dry clothes and some warm tea ready for when you're done-we don't want anyone catching cold for magick's sake.
Step outside and allow the rain and wind to soak you. Recite the following words:

"Blessed rain, wash away old hurts and soothe my soul.
Blessed rain, rinse away the stains and grit of time.
Blessed rain, clean away ill thoughts that leave a hole.
Blessed rain, purify all that is me and mine."

Then go back inside, dry off, and warm up.
