Visualization is a major part of the magical process. This exercise will help improve your visualization abilities. You'll need to do this with a magical friend or coven member. Here's what you'll need: a book/story you haven't read, plain white paper, and drawing tools-these could be colored pencils, crayons, or markers. Sit comfortably and have your drawing materials in front of you. Have your friend read a short passage to you. The reader can't show you any pictures. As your friend reads, "see" images in your mind. Begin to draw whatever you see or feel. When the reader stops, continue drawing if you wish. It can be as simple or detailed as you want. There is no right or wrong way to do this. It's meant to strengthen your spellcasting skills. You can also reverse roles, and you can read to your friend.
