A Silent Prayer for Peace

Today is the International Day of Peace. To observe this important holiday, get a tealight candle and carve a number of peace signs on its surface. Anoint the candle with an essential oil of your choice, something that represents peace and healing. Visualize the candle surrounded in a vibrant blue glow. If you wish, put on some meditative, peaceful music that aligns your mind with calm thoughts. Engage in deep breathing and slow your movements.
After you light the candle, look at a globe or a world map (even if it's on the computer) and make clockwise circular movements with the flame in front of every continent, island, country, and body of water. Take some time with this remote blessing, encompassing every area of the world.
Visualize peaceful, loving energies positively connecting everyone and everything on the planet as you carefully allow the candle to burn to its end.
