LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Autumn Leaf Spell for Releasing Obstacles

Color of the day:  White
Incense of the day:  Lilac

This time of year is ideal for dissolution and release. For this spell, gather some large dried leaves, one for each obstacle you'd like to release (five or less is best). Using either a felt pen, ink, or paint, write one specific thing you wish to be released from your life on each leaf. Remember, for banishings there is a need to be specific; a general "banish all my obstacles" can result in having things or people removed from your life that you'd rather keep. Once you figure out exactly what you wish to be released and have written it on the leaves, hold each leaf, charging it with the desire to be free from that obstacle. In the flame of a black candle, light each leaf and drop it into a cauldron to burn out. This is best done outdoors or on the stove with the hood fan on to remove the smoke.
