Banish Icky Stuff

The new moon is an ideal time to banish negative energies, people, and situations from your life. With Samhain just around the corner, this is the perfect opportunity to start the year fresh.
Make an anointing oil using a carrier oil such as almond oil. Add to it the following oils:

2 drops black pepper oil
2 drops cypress oil
2 drops grapefruit oil
2 drops lime oil
2 drops rosemary oil
2 drops vetivert oil
2 drops yarrow oil (or a pinch of dried)

Shake the bottle of oil well to mix it thoroughly. Stand outside under the new moon, and anoint yourself with the oil. Gently rub it across your forehead, the pulse points on your neck and wrists, and your heart. Concentrate on pure white light washing through your body and cleansing you emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. Chant:

Wash over me, inside and out.
Cleanse me, inside and out.
Purify me, inside and out.
Renew me, inside and out.
