Work for Justice

Color of the day:  Scarlet
Incense of the day:  Ylang-Ylang

March 7, 1965, was "Bloody Sunday" in Selma, Alabama, a key date in the Civil Rights movement. Use today to work toward justice through peaceful means.

The Justice tarot card is ideal for this purpose. It is useful to keep a tarot deck just for spells, separate from those for readings.

Anoint a brown candle with olive oil. Light the candle, saying:

"For justice."

Write your purpose on a piece of brown paper or a brown paper bag. Be specific, using only a few words, such as "passage of X bill."

Place the candle on top of the paper. Lay the Justice card before the candle, saying:

"This is the outcome. Justice will be done."

Concentrate on sending power into the candle. Repeat Justice will be done eight times (eight is the number of justice). When the candle has completely burned out, leave the piece of paper at a courthouse.
