Celebrate Yourself!

Color of the day:  Gold
Incense of the day:  Marigold

V-I-C-T-O-R-Y, victory, victory is our cry!

When I was a young cheerleader, this was a favorite cheer for our local football team.

The use of palm fronds symbolizing victory is rooted in the history of the Olympic Games. Victors were awarded palm fronds as a symbol of victory in their chosen athletic competition. Today is Palm Sunday, when the fronds from the palm plant are used to symbolize victory and everlasting life. Use the power of this day to work your magick. Celebrate a recent victory or visualize overcoming a challenging situation.

Print or draw a picture of a palm frond. Then write down your achievement, or that which you seek to overcome, across your picture.

Turn the paper ninety degrees and write the word Victory across your words nine times. Fold the paper toward you. Bury it in your backyard or in a pretty flowerpot.
