An Invocation of Balance

Color of the day:  Turquoise
Incense of the day:  Apricot

An equinox has come and gone and now the world is moving either into greater darkness or greater light. Has anything shifted in you in subtle or overt ways? Where is your invocation of balance required?

Light a candle of any color before you, perhaps at your indoor altar or at an outdoor shrine. Ground, center, and align. When you feel vividly present inside of the web of relationships, call out to the winds and the worlds:

"Powers of the serpent winds,
Powers I call and conjure in,
I invoke for balance here,
I lay down my hurt and fear."

Perceive the flame before you open up and engulf you in a ring of holy flame. It holds you in its mighty spell. You may receive visions, intuitions, or insights. Record them in your journal.
