Color of the day: Ivory Incense of the day: Narcissus You'll need a wide-mouth Mason jar with a lid, paper and pen, and scissors. Begin by writing down quotations, phrases, poems, invocations, prayers, or other short writings that influence your own magickal practices. After writing each one, cut the piece of paper to fit, fold it into a small shape, and add it to the jar. Consider words not just from magickal folks but perhaps also from astronomers, theologians, mythologists, and other learned people-and from you, too! For best results, add new materials to the jar regularly. Once your jar is at least half full, dip into it when you need inspiration. You can also use it for divination: when you need a question answered, meditate on it, then pull a paper from the jar and consider how your question has been answered. |
