The Parking Place Word

Color of the day:  Amber
Incense of the day:  Juniper

Anyone who lives in a city knows that finding a place to park can be a challenge. In their 1988 book Found Goddesses, Morgan Grey and Julia Penelope found the goddess Asphalta and created this invocation:

"Hail, Asphalta, full of grace: Help me find a parking place."

Another magical aid is the Parking Place Word. It's ZZZAAAZZZ, pronounced with great vigor and force. Say this word when you turn the corner onto the street where you want to park or when you enter the parking lot. Speak aloud where you want to park, perhaps in front of a particular house or store. Be aware that while your space will almost always open up, you may have to drive around the block or go up and down a few aisles.

Just the other night, I said ZZZAAAZZZ on my cellphone to a friend who was looking for a parking spot and a space opened up right in front of her. Really!
