Wee Folk

Color of the day:  Silver
Incense of the day:  Narcissus

Consider the wee folk who reside in and around our homes. They protect us and bring us abundance. We, in turn, offer thanks to them.

Throughout the year, collect bottle caps and small jars or boxes. Caps filled with honey or cider and containers holding small amounts of food are great treats for the wee folk. If the treats are placed outside, be sure to put them where garden tools will not damage them or be damaged. If inside, be sure to collect them after a day or two so as not to attract unwanted pests. Biodegradable materials are a must, and no iron! Also welcome are shiny objects and items we no longer need, such as a single earring, a thimble, or a scrap of pretty fabric. "Pixies, brownies, gnomes, and sprites,
Elves, faeries, and the like,
Gratitude for all you do.
Please take this little gift for you."
