Healing Spell for Father Sky

With air pollution and global warming becoming such an issue these days, it's even more vital that we, as practitioners of magic, do our part to help. Becoming involved in US Forest Service tree-planting efforts or even simply planting a seedling in a yard or in the wild (make sure it's of an indigenous species, however- nothing invasive that would upset the local ecosystems) can do much to help heal our ailing planet.

For this spell, you will need one (or several!) young trees and a green and a pink candle. Light the green candle, to honor the breath of the tree, and the pink one, to honor the breath of humans. Hold the baby tree while concentrating on exchanging your breath with that of the seedling, letting the energy flow between you. Chant:

"Life-giving tree, may we rise
together, healing and blessing
our beloved sky father."

When the power peaks, send the energy into the sapling, visualizing it fully grown and healthy.
