Name Your Fame

Color of the day:  Rose
Incense of the day:  Alder

While some of us desire fame in the usual sense of being a movie star or a rock legend, a large number of us would prefer to be known for something more local and less flashy, such as our cookie recipes, our computer programming prowess, or our mad tarot skills. But make no mistake: we may not need to win an Oscar, but we all want to be seen and appreciated for something. It's how we're made.

So today, light a red pillar candle, burn some cinnamon incense, and brew a cup of cinnamon tea. Relax, center yourself, and take some time to list all the ways you'd most like to be known and seen in the world. Phrase your desires in the present tense, as if they're already true. Fold the paper and place it under the candle. Allow the candle to burn at intervals all the way down.
