POSTED UNDER Rain, Water

Water Ritual

Color of the day:  Rose
Incense of the day:  Vanilla

The goal of this ritual is to explore the water element and get in touch with it personally, renewing your connection for magical or spiritual practice. Find a place where you can hear running water—a stream, a waterfall, or even a fountain. If you don’t have access to one of these, you can listen to a recording. The sound of rain would also be appropriate. In addition, use actual water in the ritual, if desired. Consider the metaphysical qualities associated with water, such as cleansing and intuition. In addition, focus on respect for water. Chant:

"Water, as you move and flow,
remind us, you’re essential—
but with dangerous potential—
the gentle rain, the hurricane.
Keep us mindful, precious water.
Cleanse us, quench us"
