Water from the Sky

Color of the day:  Green
Incense of the day:  Carnation

For most of us, February is a month when water comes from the sky in one form or another. In California, that may be rain. In New York, it’s usually snow. Either way, this is a good time to embrace water’s gifts, even if they make life a little more challenging. After all, water is the basis of life.

So instead of bemoaning the precipitation, collect a little bit in a bowl and use it for this simple spell. Hold the bowl between your hands and lift it to the sky. If you want, you can dab a little water on your brow, your lips, your heart, and your core. Then say:

Water, wet and full of power,
Lend me energy in this hour.
Fuel my body, mind, and soul
With the water in this bowl.

Feel the energy moving from the water, down your arms, and into your body. You can save the rest and use it for your magical work, or pour it back outside.
