A March Wind Spell

Color of the day:  Topaz
Incense of the day:  Honeysuckle

It’s Saint Patrick’s Day. The earth is turning green and there’s a feeling of celebration in the air. This is a good day to combine the joyous mood and the forces of the March wind to bring a positive change into your life. The winds of March are all about change, as winter turns to spring. Use these winds to remove negativity from your life.

For this ritual you’ll need a small rock. It can be any rock that appeals to you. Go to a place where you’ll be alone, such as a hilltop, a meadow, or your back yard. Hold your rock and think of the negative issue you wish to be rid of. Face east and say:

East wind, blow away ______
(name the problem).

Then repeat for each other wind direction in this order: south, west, and north. End by facing east again. Now declare yourself free of your problem. Leave your rock as an offering and walk away.
