LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Gifts to Ourselves

Color of the day:  Amber
Incense of the day:  Marigold

In the Victorian era, Boxing Day was traditionally the only day servants had off from work, and they often received a boxed gift from their master or mistress.

A statutory holiday here in Canada, Boxing Day is a time for me to focus on giving to myself and being my own “mistress.” I give myself a small magical gift wrapped up in a box.

Today, cast a circle, call in the directions, and invoke Mother Mary, a symbol of the divine feminine. May she connect you to your own divinity. While in sacred space, imagine being held in Mother Mary’s arms, by the divine feminine, protected and empowered. Open the box and joyously receive the magical gift, affirming:

I am my own mistress, thankful for
my own divine care. I receive this gift
and empower the magic of my divine
feminine. I give and receive magic.

Close the circle. Create a magical life.
