Creativity Imbolc Spell

Color of the day:  Topaz
Incense of the day:  Honeysuckle

At sundown we begin to celebrate Imbolc, the Celtic festival in honor of Brigid. She is known as a goddess of wisdom, poetry, and inspiration, among other things. Imbolc is also a fire festival, a celebration of the return of the light. The light and fires of Imbolc represent a luminous, radiant hope after experiencing harsh, cold winter days. Fire is the element of transformation and passion. It is a perfect time to renew and transform your creativity.

A simple way to celebrate Imbolc is to light a white candle to “spark” your creativity and celebrate the return of the light. Once your candle is lit, cup your hands around the candle at a safe distance and say:

On this Imbolc night, as my
candle burns bright, help my
passion and creativity reignite.

Safely extinguish the candle once you are done.
