LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Gossip Stoppit!

Color of the day:  Gray
Incense of the day:  Rosemary

A short yet effective variation of an ancient anti-shit-talking spell is to take any dry leaf (or leaves) that you can write on with a permanent marker. The ideal is bay leaf. Then simply write the origin (or origins) of the gossip being stirred. If this is unknown, simply (or additionally) write words like "gossip," "lies," and "slander" on any of the leaves.

Then safely burn the leaf (or leaves), stating:
Accountable for my speech, I declare with honor. May others' false words be banished this hour!

To add a boost, sprinkle some slippery elm root on the leaves' ashes. Repeat the spell any time you see fit.
