Consistent Success

Color of the day:  Scarlet
Incense of the day:  Ginger

How many times have you heard the advice that if you want to succeed at something, consistency is key? While regular effort can, indeed, be a crucial part of reaching our goals, it's also important to assess whether what we're doing is truly effective, because simply doing an ineffective thing harder won't lead to success.

In these situations, we might question whether we're "good enough" or deserving of success, perhaps experiencing self-blame and shame. But if a task calls for a hammer and we're using a spoon, it's unlikely to work, simply because the tool isn't matched to the task. In life, it can be trickier to tell when we're using a metaphorical spoon instead of a hammer. This petition spell helps shed light on mismatched "tools" so we can focus on approaches that work.
