If you are the victim of gossip or slander, try this spell. You'll need a sheet from a newspaper and a pen. You'll also need a hoe or shovel. On the newspaper, write what has been said about you. You may write directly over the print. Now crumple the paper up with anger. Go to a secluded area away from your home. With the hoe or shovel, dig a small hole. Throw the crumpled newspaper into the hole. Grind it into the hole with anger. Cover the paper with soil. With your tool, tamp down the soil firmly as you say:
Gossip and slander, go rot.
Gossip and slander, you hurt me not!
Gossip and slander I smother.
Gossip and slander, you'll
never hurt me or another!
