Clearing Your Garden

Color of the day:  Orange
Incense of the day:  Juniper

Two days after the summer solstice, the waning moon is in Taurus, a fertile earth sign, for most of the day. The waning moon is a beneficial time to clear weeds from your garden and potted plants, and to clear unwanted conditions from your daily life. As you pull the weeds, chant:

Only that which is compatible with me remains in my garden, so mote it be.

To prevent more weeds from sprouting, place pretty stones around your garden plants—sparkly granite, smooth gray shale, faceted quartz. This helps to keep undesirable conditions from returning.
