Cleaning Up Spilled Tea

Color of the day:  Scarlet
Incense of the day:  Basil

Sometimes the rumor mill is juicy and everyone is "spilling the tea," as the phrase goes. When you are involved in gossip or the subject of a scandal, do this spell to clean up the spilled tea—in other words, make the situation far less interesting to people so they move on.

Choose an absorbent item, such as a cotton ball or porous piece of wood. Brew a cup of tea and place the absorbent object in the cup. Breathe in the steam and spend some time mulling over all the gossip that's been going around. Visualize this as an erratic energy flowing out every time you exhale, infusing the brew. Continue for as long as it takes for you to become bored and disinterested.

Remove the object from the tea and put it someplace where it won't be touched. Dump the tea down the drain. As the object dries up, so will the scandal.
